Philippine Public Safety College Partners with CYPHER LEARNING for their MCDRM Program
CYPHER LEARNING has announced that the Philippine Public Safety College will be partnering with CYPHER LEARNING to use NEO as their learning management system for the second year of the Master in Crisis and Disaster Risk Management Program.
The Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC) is the premier educational institution for the training, human resource development and continuing education of all personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP), the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP).
The MCDRM is a one-year scholarship program of the Philippine Public Safety College for highly qualified senior executives in government and private sectors, academe, industries, policy think tanks, uniformed officers in the interior sector, public safety and disaster risk management services.
The college intends to deliver this program using blended learning, and have chosen NEO through a memorandum of understanding with CYPHER LEARNING, as their learning management system to efficiently execute the combination of online and face-to-face classroom interaction for the second year of the program.
NEO is a world-class, award-winning learning management system (LMS) for schools and universities created by CYPHER LEARNING. NEO is a powerful platform that delivers a great user experience, while incorporating all the essential tools schools need to support effective teaching and learning.
CYPHER LEARNING will assist PPSC in the development of a strategic implementation plan for the adoption of NEO LMS as the digital learning platform for PPSC. CYPHER LEARNING will provide training and technical support for PPSC staff in the use of NEO for the duration of this term.
The Philippine Public Safety College will be responsible for the implementation of the learning activities conducted in NEO for the exclusive use of the MCDRM Program.
